Used Mazda Tribute

Used Mazda Tribute

The car is seen by many as one of the best of the breed of compact four-wheel drives. Though this perception is not in general recognised by its sales figures and sales performance, the compact has still many enthusiasts. The Mazda Tribute is a vehicle, which did virtually everything one could reasonably demand of a small four-wheel drive vessel. The Mazda Tribute offered a front wheel drive version for those on budget. It came with a 2.0 litre GXi front wheel drive capable of delivering a horsepower of 123. And the range topper was equipped with a 3.0 litre V6 automatic, which produced 196 BHP. The car interior is very well equipped. Everything works, seems to be well placed and well thought. Still, it lacks aesthetics in general. Anywhere the eye goes one can see technical perfection, but not much to admire in terms of finishing and look. The interior space and luggage space are really excellent and one could say that the Mazda Tribute is very pragmatic and move towards MPV type. The car exterior is, by contrast to interior, quite stylish and has a modern look. The on-road and off-road performance is at least satisfying and one sometimes cannot really say which one is better. As the Mazda Tribute is not a typical four-wheel drive vehicle, it does not feature certain off-road essentials like a low speed transfer gearbox for example. Yet, it offers several options of activating front and rear drives separately which can give a nice off-road experience. Whether on the tarmac or off the road, the car handling is superb and dynamics rated as just excellent. The used Mazda Tribute represents a real opportunity to get a quality used four-wheel drive compact for relatively small money. Even though its interior leaves a lot to be desired from an aesthetical point of view, there is a lot of power under the bonnet and many clever technical solutions, which make up for any shortcomings and make the car a pragmatic 4x4 bargain.
